Wer auch mal Kontakt zum amerikanischen Markt sucht, der kann über die Infos und Links anbei fündig werden. Leider haben es in Deutschland vergleichbare Magazine immer nur kurze Zeit geschafft:streichel: präsent zu sein...

Dear Inventor:
I have two important messages to share with you today.
First, I have decided to retire as publisher and editor of InventorsÌ Digest?.
This decision was not made lightly. I was just looking at my first issue of InventorsÌ Digest? -- all 12 pages of it. It was the Spring 1987 issue. I can remember ÏtypesettingÓ it on the IBM word processor then cutting out the copy and pasting it on ÏboardsÓ in preparation for the printer. As I look back over these last 20 years, I know itÌs been an amazing journey when I entered a world I had not known a thing about ... the world of independent inventors.
Since 1987, the opportunities for inventors have improved dramatically. Access to reputable services has become easier than it was 20 years ago because of the internet, the growth in the number of inventor organizations and, of course, because of InventorsÌ Digest?. Through the pages of our magazine, our newsletter and our web site, weÌve introduced you to wonderful services and to people around the country who could help you turn your idea into a product. We have also worked strenuously to keep you away from those whose only goal in life was to lighten your wallet while fattening theirs. We've also kept you informed about Congressional challenges to the U.S. patent system that would have negatively impacted you -- an independent inventor.
We will continue to publish into 2007 and will keep www.inventorsdigest.com ÏliveÓ well into the New Year while we look for a new home for AmericaÌs ONLY InventorsÌ Magazine ... IÌll keep you posted!
Second, I will be giving the keynote address at the Yankee Invention Exposition on Friday, October 20, in Waterbury, Conn. That same day, my husband, Robert Rines, and I will be conducting a workshop that we do for inventors titled, ÏLicensees: How to Bait the Hook, Reel Them In and Net Them!Ó
I strongly urge you to attend this expo and participate in the wonderful workshops. There is a world of information that will enlighten you and you just might discover what youÌve been looking for to move to the next step.
To learn about the expo and how you can exhibit your invention and/or participate in the workshops, go to YANKEE INVENTION EXPOSITION - INVENTION EXHIBITION - prototype, prototyping, New England (http://www.yankeeinventionexpo.org) .. youÌll be glad you did.
Looking forward to seeing you in Waterbury!
Sincerely,
Joanne Hayes-Rines
